Trump says it's 'terrific' 15% Americans got COVID-19 as 'it's powerful vaccine'

President Donald Trump said it was "terrific" that the US had so many coronavirus cases, describing coronavirus infections as "a powerful vaccine in itself." Trump told reporters at a White House coronavirus vaccine event on Tuesday that "the vaccine was our goal," before adding: "That was number one because that was the way it ends, plus you do have an immunity, you develop immunity over a period of time. "And I hear we're close to 15%. I'm hearing that, and that's terrific, that's a very powerful vaccine in itself."
