Curfew from 9pm to 6am in Rajkot, Surat and Vadodara from Nov 21
In an attempt to stem the rise of COVID-19 cases, Gujarat government has decided to imposed curfew in Rajkot, Surat, and Vadodara between 9 pm and 6 am from today. The decision to impose curfew in the three cities was announced by Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.The decision to impose night curfew will be effective for every day till further announcement.
The decision to impose night-long curfew in the above-mentioned cities of Gujarat was declared a day after the state administration decided to impose a 57-hour-long weekend curfew in Ahmedabad starting from November 20 night. The curfew in Ahmedabad started at 9 pm on November 20 and will end at 6 am on November 23.As Gujarat government has imposed a complete curfew in Ahmedabad city, Ahmedabad Metro Passenger Services will remain suspended on November 21 and 22. Metro services will resume on November 23, Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation said.
