India now has two of the world's 100 most powerful supercomputers
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) last month announced that it will be commissioning India’s largest HPC-AI supercomputer called Param Siddhi - AI. Now, word is that India’s newest (and fastest) supercomputer has entered the elite list of the world’s most powerful supercomputers.
Global information technology service provider Atos today announced that PARAM Siddhi – AI has been ranked 63 on the TOP500 ranking. This makes it India’s largest and fastest Supercomputer.
To give you a quick brief about India’s fastest supercomputer, PARAM Siddhi – AI has been built with NVIDIA DGX A100 Systems connected with NVIDIA Mellanox HDR InfiniBand Network, C-DAC HPC-AI Engine, AI Software Stack and Cloud Platform. It offers a performance of 4.6 petaflops sustained and 210 AI petaflops.
