'Uncivil behaviour will not be accepted': RJD's cautionary note for workers ahead of counting
Two days ahead of the Bihar election results, the Rashtriya Janata Dal – which, in most exit polls, is projected to gain majority in the recently-held Assembly polls – on Sunday warned its workers against indiscipline on the counting day.
In a tweet addressed to its workers, the party asked them not to indulge in celebratory firing and behave decently with rivals on the day of the counting of votes on November 10, irrespective of the outcome.
"Whatever the election results are on November 10, it has to be accepted with absolute restraint, simplicity and courtesy. Improper fireworks, celebratory firing and uncivil behaviour towards our rivals or their supporters will not be accepted at any cost," the party said in a tweet roughly translated from Hindi.
