Delhi Police busts gang running fake job racket in the name of Air India
Delhi Police has busted a fake job racket in the name of Air India who duped hundreds of job seekers across the country.
Three people, including one woman, have been been arrested for the crime. The trio were allegedly involved in luring people who lost their job during the pandemic and asked them to deposit money for securing job of Air India.
Police said a total of 12 forged bank accounts of the three accused have been identified. Till now, Rs 60 lakh -- cheated amount -- was credited in these fake accounts, police said.
The accused were arrested based on a complaint filed by a woman at the Palam village police station that she was duped Rs 71,875.
